Rainy Days

We have a ton more rainy days here than back at home. So we have decided
instead of staying inside all day long we are going to start to embrace the rain. We broke out the boys rain boots (thanks to Grammie J and Grandpa). The boys could of not of had more fun. Carter was such a ham. And actually there is still this standing puddle outside our house. So yesterday as we where getting ready to go to the park. Carter was fully dressed and ready to go. He walks right over and sits down to play in it. Now that we let him play we can't keep him out of it.

There is always one that cries whenever we do anything.

It was a fun and great day. I just love my boys!!!

Watermelon Boys

Austin

These are the last of our New Jersey pic. Tyson, Austin and Paxton one night each got a huge piece of watermelon to eat. I wish I had gotten the camera out more.
But I was just enjoying our time with family and chasing four kids.
We had a great week we ate tons of food, went to the county fair,
my Aunt cut all the boys hair. My Aunt works with her mother at her hair salon. Its connected to her mothers house. Which was just two house from my Uncles. Hopefully we can go back and see them again while we are living closer to them.

New Jersey/Dairy Farm

For the rest of our trip we headed to New Jersey to stay at my Uncle's and Aunt's house. My Aunt's family owns a dairy farm right down the street from them. So we spent a ton of time over there. When I was 12 I stayed on this farm with my family for a few days. They have a house on the farm and Ann Marie's brother stays at it and he helps his dad run the farm 365 days a year. They never get a day off unless they hire someone to do it. They have to get up around 4am and start. They milk about 150 cows twice a day. Lets just say after being there for an afternoon seeing how they run the dairy farm. I have a found new respect for my milk. These men work hard and don't get paid nearly enough for the milk.
Barn where they milk the cows.

They milk 18 cows at a time.

This is the huge tank the milk gets pumped into.

They have a ton of calf's. They raise them tell its time to get them pregnant after
they have a baby then of course they will produce milk. So then the cow gets used for milking. Its a huge circle they just keep doing this over and over again.

Carter was not quite sure about the cows.

Tyson on one of there many trackers.

One afternoon they put the boys to work. They helped with
the watering. Hunter took his job very serious.

Uncle OJ showing the boys that they can feed them.

Hunter got quite the friendly cow and loved to eat out of his hand.

Paxton had fun feeding them also.

These cow are either pregnant or they are trying to get them pregnant.
So they keep them in a diff barn with the young calf's.

They bottle feed all there new calf's.

This is Sarah, we could not
get Carter to touch a cow but he loved this cat.

Hershey Park

We made it to Hershey in about 5 hrs with one stop along the way. My Aunt Ann Marie and Uncle Oj with their two kids (Olivia and Austin)invited us to go with them to Hershey park and then to there house after for the week. We stayed the night in a hotel and got up the next morning to go. We had such a fun day. There where no lines and the weather was great. The boys where so excited.
Our first stop was Hershey Chocolate World.
We went on a tour of how they make there chocolate and then the kids all
got to be there own Chocolate workers. They gave them these cute hats and let
them fill up a container with Hershey chocolates.

Next was Hershey Park.
Its like Disney Land, fun rides and characters.
Olivia, Austin and the boys.

After meeting some of the chocolates we started on the rides. Its so nice because
they have the kid rides mixed in with the Adult rides. So there was no running back and forth and the kids hardly got bored.

OJ, Ann Marie, Paxton and Austin
We were surprised out how much Carter loved the rides.
We where a little nervous to put him on. You see most rides that he
could ride on he either had to ride by himself or with one of the kids
no adults where allowed on the small rides.
After awhile he would scream and cry whenever we had to take him off one.
He just wanted to ride all day.

I can't believe how big my baby is getting.

Family pic. with Hershey kiss.

Olivia and Paxton

We had such a great day. We got up early and stayed way late. I was a little worried at how Carter would do lets just say he was super good. He only had a 30min nap and was such a happy guy. After we left the park we had a 2hr drive to New Jersey so we made it in around 1am.
Thanks for a fun day OJ and Ann Marie.
