Erie, PA

Matt and I took a little trip over Mother's day to Erie, PA! It took forever to get there, after changing plane's 3 times and 12 hrs later we arrived. The reason we went is Matthew had an interview. The first day we drove around this small town and saw all the sights. It funny because, we saw everything in just half of the day. It was so green and beautiful. I forget how cold it still can be back east. Some of the pictures are of the light houses they have there. Erie used to be a port town and they have tons of light house. It was a great trip and fun just the two of us! A HUGE THANKS TO MOM AND DAD. You guys ROCK!! I love that I can leave my kids with you guys and know they will have the time of there lives. Also thank you Chuck and Christian for helping out too. I just love to have family that are so willing to help us out. I hope your Mother's day mom was great! You sure are the best mom anyone could ask for.

Swimming

These picture are from a few weeks ago, this is our first swim of the year. Taya has been so kind to have people over to swim. So I packed up all 4 boys went. Only pro. is I have 2 boys ty and pax who like to be held in the water and then of course carter who needed me sometimes too. So it was a lot of getting in and out of the water.

Carter's Blessing

We Blessed Carter yesterday (sunday). There was such a sweet spirt at church and Matthew did a great job. We had lots of family come and afterward had lunch at our house. Its so nice to have family close by and to have support from them.

Kite Flying and Frowns!

Yesterday, we decide to take advantage of all the wind and go fly our kites. Hunter was a pro. and loved holding onto the end of the kite. Tyson for some reason would not hold onto the end of the kite. He thought it would take him up up and away!! Of course cute little Pax. loved every min of it.


I just had to post these pictures! Today I noticed Carter smiling, so I ran to get the camera to take a picture. I get the camera all ready and this is what his face turns to a big frown and on the verge of tears! It was as if the camera made him sad. After that it was all down hill! I'll catch him someday even if I have to wait forever!!
