Fireflie's

Well, I don't have much to blog about but I really hate to go to long with out a post. I am sure my family would love if I posted every day (just to see the kids). So before we go on our rode trip tomorrow which by the way we are all excited about. We are going to Hershey Park with my Aunt and Uncle that live in New Jersey and then over to there place for the week. So when I get back I will have a ton to blog about. As for now we have not been up to much. The weather here has been great. I just can't get over how nice and cool it is around here. Just the other day we had to where pants and a jacket all day. My family keeps telling me they are dying in AZ with over 115 on most days. I know its nice now, but I have to remind them that when the winter starts here we are going to die. Other than that we have gone to the beach a bunch. The other night after we got home from the beach and going to ice cream with some family's from our ward. It was the perfect time to see all the fireflies right out side our door, they put on a great show every night for us. The boys thought they were the coolest things ever (and so do I). We had a fun time catching some and watching them glow.

4th of July!

We had a fabulous Fourth. Our day started nice and early at ours wards breakfast. We did not stay long it was a cold morning and we did not dress warm enough so we left right after we ate. Later in the afternoon we went to the beach with about 14 other families all where students or residence from our ward. I believe there was over 60 people. Thanks Suzi for putting this together. We had a BBQ and played in the water. It was a very nice day which was great considering it had been a week of rain. The boys had fun digging holes and being covered with sand.

He has been such a happy baby its like a whole new Carter.

We lit off our fireworks early our boys where so tired and it does not

start to get dark here tell almost 10. What a fun day we had. We are really liking it

out here. The summers here are great and the beach is so fun to go to.

Fire Works

I just love this picture and my boys. They are all getting so big. So today we got some special mail. Grammie J (my mom) sent money for the boys to go and get Happy Meals so the chose to go to Burger King. Afterward we went to Sam Club and bought some fireworks (they are in every store here). I have never seen my 3 older boys more excited. Its like Christmas over here we set a few off tonight and they loved it. Carter keeps trying to go and grab whatever we light so we have to watch him close. Paxton is a little scared so he wants to sit on my lap. And Hunter and Ty can not get enough. Its so much fun sense we can't do this in Az.

Rain

It has rained here all week and been in the 70's(which has been nice). It has rained here more than pro. a whole year in AZ seriously!

This pictures is of a car here in Erie on Tuesday of this week.
It rained so hard all day on Tuesday we had serious flooding. Erie even declared a state of emergency and some roads where closed because of flash flooding.
It was a crazy day. So we have been stuck in the house most of the week
which has not been a ton of fun.Hunter today when we woke up
and it was raining said he was ready to go back to Arizona its no fun
when it rains all the time. I told him just wait tell the winter when we all
will be wishing we where back home.

Presque Isle

Last Friday we went down to the beach with some families from our ward. We had a great time and the boys loved the water. Its so hard to believe that its a lake. I love that its about 10 min drive and its such a fun thing to do as a family and with friends.

Hunter and Tyson the loved to jump the waves.

Hunter made me nervous, some of the waves got pretty big, I thought

at one point I was going to have to save him when one took him down.

They have lifeguards on duty and when that wave got him he came

up to me afterward and wanted to know why the lifeguard did not come and

save him.

Paxton and Carter loved to play in the sand.
It was so funny because at first Carter would not touch it
but after he realized how fun it was to throw he could not stop.

Hunter

Just before we got ready to leave Carter and Paxton decide it

to give the water a try. Much to there surprise they both loved it.

Now this mean when we go back we will diff. have are hands full.

I wish I could crop and photo shop some of my photos. But are main

computer is still not working so I have to use an old laptop to do my pictures.

Which means this is as good as they get for now.

Paxton's 3rd Birthday!!

Sunday was Paxton's b-day! The day was a pretty low key day. Went to

Church and had some of the bishopric come over to meet us. We ate dinner and

than after had some cake. Pax-man wanted Thomas on it and we used sparklers for his candles. Which by the way the boys love sparklers and can't wait for the 4th when we can by all our own fireworks and set some off.

His brothers were just as excited as him for his b-day!

Afterward we let the kids out our back door to run around.

They love to have races. So we have them start at one end of our parking lot

and run to the other. Carter was so cute and was walking

as fast as his little feet would carry him.

We sure do love having Pax-man in our family. He is diff. our crazy boy

and cause lots of our fights but we love him!

Zuck Park

This park is just down the street from us. I can't believe how

green and beautiful it is here in Erie. The weather here has been sooo nice in the

80's which is way nicer than the 100's. So the park is called Zuck Park (pronounced like look but with a Z) we just learned this the other day when a lady asked if we were from out of town sense we did not say it right (we live on this road). So Zuck park has lots and lots of trees who I am I kidding Erie has lots and lots of trees. We had a great time playing in this park we have gone a few times now sense this day.

There is this huge swing that fits our whole family the boys love to sit on it.

They all decide to go on one of the slides together. I love how happy
they were this day and the smiles on their faces!!

At the park they have a trail so we decided to

take a little walk and see what we could find.

We saw these awesome mushrooms.

And at the end of it was a baseball field. The boys just took off running.
