Camping!!!

I don't know what we have more of....boys or stuff! All this for just 2 days of camping.

We went camping for a weekend with our good friends the Brotherson's and Kirkland's.

Between the 3 of us we have 10 boys!!! Let me just say that we picked the HOTTEST weekend of the year to go. It was reaching 90 plus the humidity. Lets just say we stayed as far way from the fire and all the jackets and blankets I packed (you know for the just in case) where only used to mop up the water that was coming into our tent when it was raining. Yes on top of dying of heat we had a tent that leaked like crazy. We where only able to stay one night and that whole night it was pouring on top of us. I just prayed and prayed we would not all end up soaked. Matt and I just kept soaking up the water as it would come in. But really we did have lots of fun. We ate good food, went swimming in a brown lake, fishing, visited Spill way where the Ducks walk on the fish (see picture below).

These carp are soo gross. Just look at those mouths and let me tell you there where thousands of these guys. It is quite the popular place to stop and feed the carp bread. I just prayed that we would not loose a boy over. I sure as heck was not jumping in to rescue.

Tyson got a kick out of chasing all the sea gulls. He is such a crazy kid...I look over and noticed he was gone from the group and see him running in the parking lot after the birds.

The boys had tons of feeding the carp we brought 12 loafs of bread for all the kids to throw.

We stoped at the Linesville Hatchery after Spillway it was just down the road from each other. Beckett loved getting out of the heat and going in side to look at some fish.

Next up was the fishing adventure, by this time it was soo hot that Matt and taken Beckett and went home. It was about an hour drive so after the hatchery they headed home to cool off. Beck was not a very happy baby with the heat. The Brotherson's brought up there fishing polls and all the boys wanted to have a turn and try. Bobbie was so patience with all of them and let each boy each boy have a turn.

Paxton was the only one who caught something. I am not even sure you can see the fish but its there. He was pretty proud of himself.

After the sun started to go down Matt and Beck came back up to be with us. It was still so hot but we really wanted to s'mores(whats camping with out them).

All the boys by the end had such red faces from sitting around the fire.

We took this right before we headed out for the night. We stayed to the end of the second night but left before sense we had tent problems.

Paxton's friend party!

Paxton had a couple friends over for his birthday. We did it about 3 weeks after his birthday. We had some friends that where out of town and he really wanted to wait for them to come home....so that they could come. He loved all of the gifts and had a great day with his family and friends.

He did it!!!

That's right Carter has done it!!! It only took about a week and he was good to go. We had a couple rough days with the whole number 2(but who doesn't)! I believe after he sat on the toilet for 2 an half hours no joke, and I sat on the floor with him reading and singing songs he finally went # 2 in the toilet and realized it was not that hard or bad!!! We put off potty training him till just after 3 which worked out perfect. Last year right around this time Carter ended up getting strep down under. Ever sense than, he has hard a hard time going poop! It just about broke my heart every time he went. There was always lots of crying and holding it in for days! He was on miralax every single day just to keep him soft and going. I never though this day would every come....but it did and its been great only having one in diapers now.

Chick-fil-A had Cow Appreciation Day....and if you dressed up like a cow you got your whole meal for free. So Katrina and I, dressed up the kids and ourselves and went for it.

*Fourth of July*

We had a GREAT Fourth this year! We had quite a few of our neighbors over for dinner and than our own firework show!!!!
