Easter Activity's

With it being the first Sat. of the month we first went to Home Depot

to make the wood project for this month. I was flying solo all day but still

wanted to make the kids Easter weekend fun.

They made butterfly houses!

Our next stop was Barnes and Noble's we listened to an Easter

story and than they had a hunt for all the kids. They hid

two coins one gold and one sliver. The gold coin won the

Easter Basket and the sliver won the book.

Well Carter found the egg with the gold coin in it.

Here he is with his mouth full of candy and the basket and saying cheese!!

(His new thing is to close his eyes while saying cheese to smile.....so cute!)




Last stop of the morning was the Zoo!

Burger King and our zoo here put on an some Easter activity's.
For all the kids. It was really busy and Hot. But the kids
had fun finding an Egg and turning it in for a prize.

Resurrection rolls/Egg dying

After a long day and dinner we learned about Christ and what the true meaning of Easter is. I found a recipe online for tomb or resurrection rolls. It a marshmallow (Christ) dip in some melted butter, with sugar and cin. all over it (our sins) placed in a crescent roll (tomb), then you roll it up and make sure there are no seams. Bake in the oven and.......

when we ate them the marshmallow(Christ) was gone.

It was a fun activity.

Then we moved on to Egg dying......

I got just a few pictures when I hear my husband yelling from the
basement to come quick. When I got down their our water
heater had very hot water coming out of one of the pipes.
My poor husband was trying to bail the water into the sink
but of course tons got all over our basement floor. I was
really no help and had no clue what to do. So I ran next door
and got Dave to come help Matt. After just a few min it stop we
have no clue why this happened or why it stop. We are just glad that it did.
It has not happened sense. But it made for a very short
egg dying time with all the commotion.

Easter Package!!!!!!!!!!

I would have to say that today has been a pretty exciting day around here.

A baby being born, Egg Hunt, and a Easter package all in the same day!!

It was like Christmas morning. My boys have been waiting for this package for a few days now. It came all the way from Grammie J's and Grandpa's house and they could have not been more excited. Thank you mom and dad for all the great toys, candy, pj's and lots of other things. The boys also this week got cards from Grandma and Grandpa Nunes and a box with toys in it from Aunt Jill. Now I just hope the Easter Bunny can deliver, Hunter today said he can't wait to see all the things the Easter Bunny will leave!!!!

First Egg Hunt!

To start off the weekend right we had our first hunt with our playgroup today!! It was a ton of fun and the weather was unbelievable. I just about feel over when I realized how warm it was today we got into the 80's. So nice but we are supposed to get cold again next week.

My brother Chuck and his wife Christina had their

first baby today. We are soooo excited over here

and wish we could be there to hold and see him.

He was born at 1:01am @ 8lbs 8oz and 21in. long.

Congrats you guys can't wait to see you in July!!!!

Zoo

We started our Easter Break this week and have been keeping very busy.

Today we went to the zoo here in Erie. It was lots of fun with our friends and

who would of thought you can see an entire zoo in less than 2hrs and not even

sweat while doing this activity. There are not very many pictures I was very

busy watching my kids.

We love the Polar Bears you don't get to see this animal in AZ!

Happy Birthday Brit!!

So sense this is a blog that also is my journal. My Mom posted this on her blog about me for my birthday. I want to be able to have this so I am posting it on here. Also I have no pictures to show for the fun Birthday, so this was by far one of the best things my mom did for me on my Birthday!!
