Work'n hard

We had got some rain and the snow had started to melt a bit,
so we had lots of frozen ice all over our drive way and sidewalk. Due
to the weather being so cold. Matt and the boys minus Pax
still not feeling well & Beckett went out to break
it up.

As you can tell Carter LOVES to have his picture taken.

V-Day

Our V-day started out great. Carter and Beckett watched some TV
while I worked on making some little cakes for us to decorate that night.

Than Paxton came home from school sick.
Poor guy laid on the couch the whole night and slept.

We ate our V-day dinner no pic. sorry....to
busy taking care of baby and Paxton. Afterwards
we made little cakes and the boys had fun decorating them.

Boys

Pinewood derby!!!

Hunter turned 8 just in time for the pinewood derby. He
loves going to scouts each week. When Grammie J was
here she got him all of his Wolf Gear (thanks mom)!

He was soooo excited and help Matt out a ton in making his
car. I was really bummed that I had to miss it, as I was still
in the hospital with B. I was glad that the boys came and
saw me right before. After they where done for the night Matt called
to talk and let me know that Hunter lost every race he raced in. He
said he did really good at not crying tell the very end and just put his
head in Matts lap and cried a bit.Oh it just broke my heart.. I wish
just like every mother that Hunter could of won!!! Or at least one won
race. So here is to next year. We all promised to make a better and faster car!!

Beckett Broadhurst Nunes

Our sweet little guy Beckett came into this world at 1:41pm. He was 6lbs 13oz and 20in. long on Jan 25. Thank goodness my mom was there because Matt ended up missing him being born. He had a test and I thought for sure that he would have time to take it. When I checked into the hospital I was still the same not much change sense my appt. so I thought it would take some time. They started my pitocin and broke my water around 8:30ish. When she checked me at 10 or so I still was around a 3. Matt was at home studying for his test and was going to take it at 1:30. Well around 12 I started to feel some pain and the pressure to push. So she checked me and said I was only a 5. I thought for sure I would be further because with my last few births whenever I felt like that I was a 10 and needed to push. I new though I would have the baby soon. (So I called Matt and told him to get his bottom down to the hospital. He said he was just going to go and take the test early and do it really fast.) So she turned me on a diff side and left the room. She said she would not be far and would watch the monitor out at the nurse's station. Not 5min later she was back in..... which I was glad for because I still felt like I was going to have him. Well sure enough she came in to checked me again. It happened to be while I was having a contractions and I went from a 5 to just about a 10. I tried so hard not to have to push him out. I called Matt a few more times he was done with the test this was around 1 something and was on his way. I told him to hurry because I could not fight the urge to push. Well the time came to have him and Matt was not there yet. I cried for about 2 sec about it and then pushed him out. Mom cut the cord as soon as Matt walked into the room.

Our Happy Family!!

I just love this pic. Carter did not want anyone to hold
the baby but him and would yell and scream at one
of the boys if they got to close.

Sledding backyard style

We always want to take the boys sledding but really with 4 boys!
It's really is not that easy to do. There is always at least one or should I say
2 boys that only last about 5 min... tears and fits. It gets real old real fast.... and to
get them all bundled up to have them go inside in just a few min makes me not
soooo happy. So Matt built up our own small little hill in the back and most
of the boys love it. The best part is I can stay warm in the house while they play.
